Initial Setup and
Installation
 Back to Main Menu

Step 1: Download the App

Download the app from the Apple App Store by searching for Libra TMR.
Step 2: Install the Device

Mount Libra TMR on the front exterior of the mixer with the connectors pointing downward, preferably protected from the elements. If you have an existing indicator, mount Libra TMR where it was located. Connect the cable from the mixer's load cell junction box, and a compatible power cable to the Libra TMR device. Secure any excess cabling.
Step 3: Pair the Device

Pair directly through the Libra TMR app and NOT through the general smartphone/tablet Bluetooth settings.

1. Bring the mobile device to the Libra TMR device and launch the Libra TMR app.
2. Select the Settings tab in the app and ensure Primary Display is selected for the one main mobile device in the mixer. Pairing a remote display should only be done AFTER the primary display has been paired.
3. Select the Mixers tab.
4. Tap + to add and configure the mixer equipment.
5. Name the mixer, select how you would like the weights to be displayed (1lb, 5lb, 10lb, etc.), and tap Done to begin the automatic pairing process.

The Primary Display device can set a remote control password to allow remote displays to view live weights and control loading the mixer from their mobile device (from the loader or within range). The password is defaulted to 00000 and all remote displays that pair will have remote control access, unless this is changed on the primary display device.
Step 4: Determine Your Load Cell Information

All load cells installed on the mixer MUST have identical ratios of sensitivity to capacity (sensitivity/capacity). This is true if all load cells are of the same model and should be checked otherwise.

Using the calibration number from an existing indicator:
Find and note the calibration number of your existing indicator as the Rated Capacity (lb), and use 0.40 mV/V as the Sensitivity. Please consult the existing indicator's user manual or visit the agrimatics.com support page for help retrieving the calibration number on some indicators.

In all other cases:
Read and note the Sensitivity (Rated Output) and Rated Capacity (Rated Load) from any one load cell on the mixer. Multiply the Rated Capacity by the TOTAL number of load cells on the mixer. If specifications are unavailable, a good starting point is a Sensitivity of 0.40 mV/V and a Rated Capacity of 8000 lb multiplied by the TOTAL number of load cells on the mixer.
Step 5: Configure the App

1. Ensure the Libra TMR device and app are paired and connected.
2. Ensure units (lb, kg) are set to those of the Rated Capacity found previously.
3. Select the Device tab and enter the Sensitivity and Rated Capacity noted previously.
4. Enter the Calibration Factor as 1.0.
5. Tap Save Settings.
6. Tap Zero Scale.
7. Select the Display tab and tap Tare.
8. Apply a known weight (perhaps your body weight) to one of the mixers's load cells, recording the displayed weight. Repeat with each remaining load cell. If the load cells agree and are roughly correct, you can now calibrate. If the load cells agree but are roughly half than expected, double the Rated Capacity entered previously. If weights do not agree, check wiring and load cell orientation.
Step 6: Calibrate

1. Ensure the Libra TMR device and app are paired and connected.
2. Ensure the mixer is empty and on level ground.
3. Select the Display tab and tap Tare.
4. Load the mixer with a known weight and note the reading from the large display. Larger weights provide higher precision.
5. Select the Device tab and enter the known weight as the Certified Reading, and enter the noted amount as the Mixer Reading.
6. Tap Calculate to determine a new Calibration Factor.
7. Tap Save Settings.
