Feedings

A Feeding divides a daily ration amount for a feed group into multiple feedings per day. Feedings operate differently depending on the feeding mode (daily or standard), which is set in the Settings tab.

In Daily mode, earlier feedings from the day from the same feed group are subtracted from new batches, so the feeding percentage is the fraction of the daily ration amount that will be reached after performing the feeding. A sample feeding schedule where half is fed in the morning and half in the evening under Daily mode would be: Morning 50%, Evening 100%.

In Standard mode, batches are treated independently, so the feeding percentage is the fraction of the daily amount that will be fed during the feeding. The same feeding schedule of half in the morning and half in the evening would be: Morning 50%, Evening 50%.
