Connectivity

Dual 4-Pin AMP 12V power and load cell connector.

The Libra Cart hardware plugs into the main load cell cable coming from the load cell junction box. If your load cell cable is not a male 4-pin, you may need an adapter cable (see Accessories below).

Power Modes

Battery or 12V Powered. Libra Cart will come with a fresh 3.6V AA lithium battery. Power cable is sold separately.

Battery:

Libra Cart uses either a 1.5V or 3.6V AA lithium battery. For maximum battery life, use a 3.6V AA battery and replace before every harvest season.

12V Power:

lf you have a 12-volt vehicle battery power cable, you can connect it to the device’s power connector. If not, cover the unused power connector with the supplied cap.

WARNING: Vehicle battery connection shall be in accordance with all vehicle safety instructions including 4A SLOW ACTING protective fusing with minimum 20 AWG wiring.

Installation

The Libra Cart hardware can be either left in the cab of the grain cart or mounted right onto the cart.

Installation Instructions:

Mount the Libra Cart device to the front of the grain cart with its connectors pointing downward, preferably protected from direct exposure to the elements. Connect the cart’s load cell junction box cable to the device.

App Compatibility

The Libra Harvest app is free and is compatible with iOS devices running iOS 12 or newer and Android devices running versions 9 or newer with Bluetooth 4.0 or newer.

Cloud Service

The cloud service provides automatic data backup and more. It is publicly available for iOS devices. If using an Android device, contact us for the cloud beta version.

Support

Libra Cart hardware is covered by a warranty of 36 months from the original date of manufacture.
